Sharing Information With Travel Suppliers

Where necessary to provide a requested or confirmed service, relevant customer information may be shared with resorts, hotels, guesthouses, airlines, transfer providers, excursion operators, dive centres, watersports providers, charter operators and other suppliers involved in the customer’s itinerary.

We aim to share only the information reasonably required for the relevant supplier to confirm or provide the service.

Payment and Cardholder Information

Online payments may be processed through Bank of Maldives or another authorised payment service provider made available by Esoteric Travel and Tours.

Payment-card information entered into a secure payment gateway is transmitted through the payment environment used by the relevant payment service provider.

Esoteric Travel and Tours does not intentionally store complete payment-card numbers, card security codes or other sensitive authentication information entered into the payment gateway.

Security Measures

Esoteric Travel and Tours takes reasonable administrative and technical measures intended to protect personal and transaction information from unauthorised access, misuse, loss or disclosure.

These measures include limiting access to customer information to persons who reasonably require it for business purposes, using secure website connections where appropriate, and relying on authorised payment service providers for the transmission and processing of payment-card information.
